Para além das relações bilaterais com universidades estrangeiras, disponíveis na aba de Acordos de Cooperação da página da AAI, a Universidade Estadual da Região Tocantina do Maranhão tem também participação em redes e parcerias institucionais multilaterais para o desenvolvimento de atividades de ensino, pesquisa, extensão e inovação em nível nacional e internacional.
